Second Grade

Second Grade Teachers

 Mrs Harp

Being a teacher at TPES means that I will collaborate with my team members and school colleagues to provide the highest level of instruction possible.  Our students experience a learning environment that nurtures their mind and individual personalities. Teachers honor and value reflective, flexible, and divergent thinking.  This is possible due to teachers being able to work together to collaborate and discuss student work and curriculum on a weekly basis.

Being a teacher at TPES means being able to take part in shared decision making process for the well being of our school.  It also means being able to work well and collaboratively with fellow teachers.   Last but not least, it means being able and flexible enough to teach above grade level standards when and if the majority of our students come to us at above grade level standards.

Being a teacher at TPES means you will have opportunities to work  with diverse cultures and develop a level of understanding about each other in order to facilitate collaboration and cooperation as well as be challenged to think outside the box and on your feet (rather than a program) to bring about deeper understanding of subject matter and promote students to question and share their own viewpoints/opinions.
