SSC/SGT Meeting Dates
SSC Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month from 7:45-8:24 am with a few exceptions*.
SGT Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month from 7:15-8:00 am with a few exceptions*.
Please see below for the 2002-2021 school year schedule. This year the meetings will take place via Zoom.
These meetings are public and all are welcome - however, only board members are allowed a vote.

Per Ed Code the configuration for elementary school is:
SSC: Minimum of 10 members. Five (5) parents with currently enrolled students and not employed at the school site. Minimum of five (5) staff including the Principal, minimum of 3 classroom teachers, minimum of 1 other school personnel (classroom teachers must be in the majority). There may be more than 10 - however, it must be equal representation between parents & school staff.
The SGT shall be composed of 9 members as follows: The Principal, 4 classroom teachers (one must be the SDEA Rep), 1 member of classified staff, and 3 parents of students currently enrolled at TPES (one of these parents must be on the Foundation Board).
At the October 1st meeting, we will hold elections (if more people "apply" than slots open) or introduce the new members. We will also vote on the by-laws and complete the district roster at that meeting.
