Fourth Grade Teachers

For me being a teacher at TPES means willingness to collaborate, share, and work with a team. We are lifelong learners and love to grow and strengthen our craft.  We build relationships with our students and families.  Some of which we continue to keep in contact with long after they leave TPES.  Lastly, we realize the need to be flexible with our students, families, and staff.

Being a teacher at TPES means working fluidly with your grade level team. Sharing and collaborating to best serve the students in your care. It means listening and possibly changing your plans for the greater good of students. It means being a kind and fair coworker and friend.

Being a teacher means facilitating the learning of many wonderful and unique children and seeing them develop into amazing young adults. Watching them light up when they finally understand something difficult or getting so excited when they learn something that they can hardly contain themselves and even laughing when lessons go awry—these are the things that make me want to get up and teach each day. Being a teacher at TPES has always meant a supportive staff who is eager to help one another in the pursuit of ensuring the highest standards and experiences for our students and families. Even as times have been challenging lately, I know we will all jump into this school year with the enthusiasm and love of children and teaching that makes us a stand-out school.  😊
