**enrollment documents must be returned no later than May 31, 2023 12:00 PM for those that received a spot. If received after this time, the student will be moved to the waitlist.

    Below are the steps to complete enrollment for Torrey Pines

    Parents will need to provide copies of these documents to the TPES office
    (If you were accepted as CHOICE please start at Step 2). 

    We look forward to meeting and getting to know you and your child(ren).

    Step 1: Verify Torrey Pines Elementary is your neighbor school:
                    
    Visit SchoolFinder & enter your home address to verify your neighborhood school.


    Step 2: After confirming Torrey Pines is your neighborhood school, please submit the following forms/documents: 

    1.    Forms you will need to complete: 

    a.     SDUSD PreK-12 Enrollment Form

    b.     Home Language Survey

    c.      Educational Needs Questionnaire (if your student has or is in the process for an IEP or 504 please let us know and provide a copy)

    d.     Universal Form

    e.     New Student Questionnaire

    f.       Health Records/Forms:

    ·      Proof of Up-to-Date Student Immunization Records: Visit for our district’s requirements

    ·       Health Information Form

    ·       Medical Exam - To be filled out by doctor.
    Kindergarten/1st grade Forms

    ·      Dental Exam- To be filled out by dentist.

    g.     If your student has attended another UTK - 5th school, please complete Request for Elementary School Records (US Schools only).

    2.    You will also have to provide: 

    a.     Copy of Student Birth Certificate/Passport

    b.     Verification of residency (mortgage statement/lease agreement & utility bill recent within 45 days)

    c.      Student IEP or 504 plan (if applicable)

    d.     Parent Identification

     Step 3: BECOME A PARENT VOLUNTEER (optional)

        a. Pick up an application from the office
        b. TB Test from licensed physician
        c. Copy of COVID vaccination card or negative test

    If you are unable to access the enrollment documents online, enrollment hours as follows:
    Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
    Beginning April 17, 2023, packets will be available for pick up.
    All documents need to be returned to the office

     

    Join the TPES Foundation

    The Torrey Pines Elementary School Foundation (TPES Foundation) is a non-profit organization that includes all parents/guardians of Torrey Pines Elementary School students. As a parent or guardian of a student at Torrey Pines, you are automatically a member of the Foundation. Our school's Foundation plays a key role in our students’ success and learning experiences at TPES. Its mission is to provide resources to inspire learning, enrich teaching, and create equitable opportunities for the children, staff, and families of TPES.
